The third owner of the Queen Anne Victorian home, Alice “Alla” Bretherton Brown Powell actually named it after her sons’ favorite children’s book, The Hollow Tree and Deep Woods Book by Albert Bigelow Paine. Attend this three-course high tea outside on the grounds of Deepwood and learn more about this delightful book and the naming of Deepwood.
This is a brunch tea at 10am rather than our traditional 11am start time. You’re invited to explore the gardens of Deepwood following this tea.
Set menus, no substitutions available.
Cost:
$55 per guest | $50 for current Deepwood Members. Gluten Free option is available for an additional $10 per ticket. Unfortunately we are not able to adapt menus for any other dietary requests. Tickets are non-refundable.
